For decades, the endurance climbing event has been a simple affair: most pitches sent, fastest time, or highest vertical gain. But as the sport evolves and outdoor venues welcome a broader spectrum of athletes, the traditional scoring model feels increasingly one-dimensional. An outdoor climbing marathon is not merely a race against the clock; it is a test of strategy, adaptability, and sheer will.
